Advanced

The Advanced section is intended for LISP/AutoLISP programmers who are already programming, and would like a few additional pointers.  So check out the articles in the  Advanced AutoLISP category. For this reason, explanations of LISP/AutoLISP functions used will not be provided unless a particular aspect of that function is important.

Next you may want to try creating some DCL dialog boxes for a better user interface.

Although we make many references to AutoLISP, these examples apply to LISP programming as used in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or any other IntelliCAD based CAD program.

Be sure to give me your comments and let me know what you like, don’t like or don’t understand on any of these posts.  I want to be helpful as much as possible in order that you can begin to create your own programs to get AutoCAD to do what you want it to.
